Many people come to us with the notion that weight loss surgery is too extreme of an option. However, when they get the full information, they realize that they’ve let fear and misunderstanding keep them from living the lives they’ve always dreamed about. Don’t let unnecessary worry control your destiny. Let us help you take the steps to turn your life around.
If you’re one of the many who have suffered from weight loss problems seriously affecting your health, Puget Sound Bariatric Center makes it possible to achieve the results you’ve always wanted.
The American Society for Bariatric Surgery describes two basic approaches that weight loss surgery takes to achieve change:
- Restrictive procedures that decrease food intake.
- Malabsorptive procedures that alter digestion, thus causing the food to be poorly digested and incompletely absorbed so that it is eliminated in the stool.
